The Thistle National Championship has been rescheduled to August 25-27. The format will be decided by a four-race series rather than the traditional structure. Sails will be measured for the first time, and the Baltimore Y.C. will host the event with excellent facilities.

South Shore Y.C. (Fleet 16) started the regatta season on May 14-15 with nine Thistles competing. Dr. Clyde Gump won first with 22 points, followed by Emery O. Lange with 21 points, and W.R. Wagner in third with 18½ points.

Midwest & Great Lakes RegattasFleet #3 is taking room reservations for the Lake Erie District Thistle Championship on July 23-24 at Sandusky. The fleet maintains its reputation for well-groomed boats and active competition.
