Markeliunas Wins Going Away — Midwinters
Bruno Markeliunas won the 1965 Midwinter Championship decisively, an unstoppable helm who moved to first after the first race and never threatened again. A fleet of 44 boats from all parts of the country competed in light to 25 knot clusters, with Bruno's final score well ahead of second place finisher.
