Ben Weil, Central Atlantic District Secretary, won the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Racing Association Thistle High Point Championship for 1962, receiving a silver perpetual trophy and winner's flag. Ed Hoyt and Eli Venning completed the top three finishers.
